I remember my first visit to the Design Centre in London's Chelsea Harbour whilst studying interior design at KLC School of Design and was in awe of the space. Leading brands within the design space from lighting like Vaughan Design to fabric from Pierre Frey. Each showroom displaying their collection of products in playful, dynamic ways. It is no wonder it is the world's premier destination for both design lovers and professionals.
What I admire about the Design Centre is its ability to be innovative, each supplier expanding the breathe of their creative expression and as a designer, it is thrilling to develop concepts with brands that share a similar ethos. I strongly believe in foraging and always seek out makers and craftspeople to collaborate with on each commission, creating a work that harmonizes with the client.
So you can imagine my excitement when asked to be in the magazine, speaking with Elizabeth Metcalfe, Features Editor at House and Garden. Discussing design inspiration, the present and future. A true honor and thrilling moment of gratitude.
